Privacy Policy

India Recycles ("we", "us") collects donated clothing and gives it a second life through community sales, upcycling and livelihood programmes across Ahmedabad and Vadodara. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

• Your name, email address, phone number and city, when you volunteer, request a pickup, apply for an internship or role, or contact us.
• The details you type into a message or enquiry.
• Donation details, when you give financially. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by your own bank or payment app. We never see or store them.

We do not run advertising trackers or sell data to anyone, ever.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and arrange a pickup, drop-off, volunteering slot or partnership.
• To issue donation receipts, including 80G receipts where applicable.
• To keep records our auditors and regulators require of us as a non-profit.
• To send occasional updates about our work, only if you asked for them. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.

Who else sees it

Form submissions reach us by email through form and email delivery services. Financial contributions are processed by regulated payment providers and your bank. Website content is stored with our hosting and database providers. These parties process data only to provide their service to us. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

Photographs

Our site shows photographs from community sales, camps and events. If you appear in a photograph and would like it removed, email us and we will take it down.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and volunteering details are kept while they are useful to the relationship. Donation and financial records are kept for as long as Indian law requires us to keep them. You can ask us to delete anything else at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Write to indiarecycles@gmail.com and we will act on it.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally so pages load faster on your next visit. Nothing in it identifies you, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal details, contact us and we will delete them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
