India Recycles clothes sorting and distribution
How It Works

Our Model

A circular economy for clothes, from your wardrobe to communities that need it most, with zero waste along the way.

How India Recycles Works

Every donation travels through these six stages, creating a complete circular economy for donated clothing.

You Donate STEP 1

You Donate

Drop your pre-loved clothes at any of our 20+ collection points across Ahmedabad and Vadodara. We accept all kinds of clothing.

Volunteers Sort STEP 2

Volunteers Sort

Our dedicated volunteers sort, clean and categorise all incoming donations, separating wearable items from those that need upcycling.

Community Sale STEP 3

Community Sale

Wearable clothes go to our weekly sales in slum communities, priced between ₹10 and ₹50 so families buy with dignity, not charity.

Thrift Sale STEP 4

Thrift Sale

Curated, higher-end pieces go to our Thrift Sale events for urban audiences, normalising pre-loved fashion in the city.

Re-Vibe Upcycling STEP 5

Re-Vibe Upcycling

Clothes that cannot be worn again are upcycled into Re-Vibe products: bags, accessories and home goods with a new life.

Zero Waste STEP 6

Zero Waste

Whatever is left becomes Godadi winter mattresses, stitched by women from the community. Zero textile waste, zero excuses.
