Our Model
A circular economy for clothes, from your wardrobe to communities that need it most, with zero waste along the way.
How India Recycles Works
Every donation travels through these six stages, creating a complete circular economy for donated clothing.
You Donate
Drop your pre-loved clothes at any of our 20+ collection points across Ahmedabad and Vadodara. We accept all kinds of clothing.
Volunteers Sort
Our dedicated volunteers sort, clean and categorise all incoming donations, separating wearable items from those that need upcycling.
Community Sale
Wearable clothes go to our weekly sales in slum communities, priced between ₹10 and ₹50 so families buy with dignity, not charity.
Thrift Sale
Curated, higher-end pieces go to our Thrift Sale events for urban audiences, normalising pre-loved fashion in the city.
Re-Vibe Upcycling
Clothes that cannot be worn again are upcycled into Re-Vibe products: bags, accessories and home goods with a new life.
Zero Waste
Whatever is left becomes Godadi winter mattresses, stitched by women from the community. Zero textile waste, zero excuses.
Community Sale
Every week we run clothing sales in slum communities across Ahmedabad and Vadodara, with items priced between ₹10 and ₹50. Charging a small price rather than giving clothes away lets families choose what they want and keeps their dignity intact.
Thrift Sale
Curated second-hand events for urban audiences in Ahmedabad, showcasing higher-end donated pieces at affordable prices. The point is to make buying pre-loved normal for people who can afford new.
Re-Vibe
Clothes too worn to sell are not waste. Re-Vibe upcycles them into bags, accessories and home goods, designed with partners and stitched by women from the communities we work with.
Zero Waste
Whatever is left at the very end becomes Godadi winter mattresses, stitched from leftover non-recyclable material by women who earn an income doing it. Nothing from your donation reaches a landfill.
Revenue Fuels Impact
Every rupee from our sales goes back into community programs, creating a self-sustaining model of social impact.
Health Programs
Medical camps, health checkups, eye exams and gynaecological services for slum residents who can't afford private healthcare.
Education Support
Scholarships for children from under-resourced families so they can stay in school. We've supported 25+ students so far.
Livelihood Creation
Re-Vibe and Godadi programs employ women from slum communities, turning waste into income and empowerment.
